1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with polancofirm.com and any online forms or tools we operate under this domain (collectively, the “Site”).

The Site is operated by Polanco Firm Association, a private ecclesiastical homeowner justice collective, doing business as “The Polanco Firm” (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or attorney–client relationships.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, you may contact us.

2. What This Policy Covers

This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share that information, how we use cookies and similar technologies, your choices and rights related to your information, and how to contact us about privacy questions.

This Policy does not cover any services actually provided by independent attorneys, law firms, legal aid organizations, or agencies listed in our directory, or any external websites you visit through links from our Site.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. If you sign up for our email list, request a free sample, or purchase an ebook, we collect information such as your name and email address, and payment processing is handled by our third-party checkout provider (Payhip) — we do not directly collect or store your payment card details.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect IP address, browser type and settings, device information, pages visited, time on page, and basic usage data for performance and security.

Cookies. The Site may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain basic functionality, remember preferences, and collect limited analytics data. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate and maintain the Site, deliver ebook purchases and email content, respond to inquiries, improve our educational materials, maintain the accuracy of the Legal Aid & Agency Directory, monitor and protect the security of the Site, and comply with applicable laws.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and vendors who help us operate the Site (hosting, email delivery, checkout/payment processing, analytics), for legal and safety reasons, or in connection with a business transition. We do not control what independent attorneys, law firms, or organizations do with information you give them directly.

6. Third-Party Links and Tools

The Site contains links to attorney and law firm websites, legal aid and nonprofit websites, government agencies and complaint portals, and third-party tools such as our email provider and checkout provider. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those third parties.

7. Data Retention

We generally retain information for as long as needed to operate the Site and respond to inquiries, and as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information. However, no website, email transmission, or online system is 100% secure. Avoid sending highly sensitive information or confidential documents through our contact email.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, object to, restrict, or withdraw consent regarding your personal information. You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the link in any email we send. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
